Samsung Presents 'Magic' on Display Sophisticated 3D

Increasingly rapid technological development, including display technology. Samsung as one of the vendors are keen to develop the ability to screen showing a future technology that looks good.

In the demo video, the South Korea-based company demonstrated quite riveting screen technology. The flexible screen is only 0.3 mm thick. What does it do?

In the demo, this screen can display a variety of content including magazines or maps instantly. Most interestingly, it has the ability to display three-dimensional (3D). But 3D is not like that now in circulation, far more sophisticated than that!

The images can come up with a 3D shape is as if the original object. For example images can be raised with real food from the screen as if it could be eaten.

Because it is still a concept, the technology still takes a long time before it can be marketed. For starters, Samsung plans to introduce mobile phone with a flexible display in 2012.

Our plans to introduce a flexible display in 2012. The application is likely to be initiated in the handset. We'll start at the handset and the migration to the tablet computer and other devices.

'5 Years More, Phone Operated by Mind '

Technology giant IBM predicts five years from now we can operate various gadgets like smartphones and laptops with the mind. Simply think about what we will do, the smartphone and the laptop will follow orders.

Scientists are racing to refine the technology was a mind reader, including IBM who want to make it easier to use. For example, IBM wants to simply think about the future of mobile phone users to call someone than to have to press a series of numbers to make calls.

It sounds dreamily, IBM convinced that this kind of technology will be used in everyday life.

You just have to think about calling someone and it will happen. Or you can control the cursor on a computer screen just by thinking about which direction the cursor will be moved.

Scientists at IBM and other technology companies are currently actively designing headsets with advanced sensors that can recognize the resulting brain electrical aktvitas. This tool can recognize facial expressions, the degree of concentration and mind.

In five years from now we'll start to see a variety of applications that utilize this technology beginners, ranging from gaming to entertainment industry.

Mentioned IBM, the medical world can reap the benefits of technology to test the reader's mind brain patterns. This method is helpful in treating patients with stroke, brain defects and autism.
